about
We were de-railed last year when our drummer almost died in a bike accident, and now the world is on hold dealing with the coronavirus. We've had this song and video done for a while now. No one really knows what's going on or how long we'll have to stay inside, so we decided to let this one loose. We're stir crazy and frustrated, just like everyone else.
lyrics
No blast, it’s a slow burn; fuck all
Beneath the boards, seeping through the walls
Devour, displace, distract
Nothing but symptoms, there’s no fighting back
All absence - the specter, the system
The source - it all remains intact
Myths and illusions, a spreading intrusion
Aimless, no plan for attack
Saturated, it’s deep in the core
Its fingers thread through every pore
Won’t relent, it just wants more
Its heartbeat lives in my skin
I wanted out still I just gave in
I’m but an incapable man
With every step mired in sinking sand
Saturated, it’s deep in the core
Its fingers thread through every pore
Won’t relent, won’t give in, it wants more
I can't believe Public Art is a real song played by real people. Noise rock genius.
I love Demons, always have, always will. They scare me in ways I didn't know I could be scared of. This little snippet is a nice layover. I write verses of songs longer than this whole EP, but they have the whole replay value set pretty high. Nerve Salad
To me, this album is a breath of fresh air. I also just happened to stumble upon them. Think of all of these bands rolled into one big fatty...Alice In Chains (Jerry Cantrell’s vox), Tool, Helmet, Jawbox, Nirvana, etc. These guys are the real deal. Listen for yourself. Adam Cain
